NSW Premier Mike Baird and Transport Minister Andrew Constance will visit Newcastle on Monday to unveil the new plans for the Wickham transport interchange.
The latest plans will build on an existing interchange design released last year.
The interchange is a key plank in the government’s plan to truncate the heavy rail at Wickham and run light rail into Newcastle.
The Supreme Court reserved its verdict on a government appeal seeking to overturn a ruling made last year, which prevented it from removing the rail line without support from the Parliament
